Interview with Erik Rees from NEGU

Erik Rees is the CEO of the NEGU and the Jessie Rees Foundation www.jessie.org. Two years ago I was with Erik when he received some news that turned his life upside down. In this interview Erik shares how his faith in God helped him though this season and gave his family a new mission in life.

    Great interview. Heart-wrenching journey for sure. Loved what he shared about heaven and how is view of it has changed.

    Every night I tuck my kids into bed, kiss them, and remind them how much I love them. Then, when I go to bed I immediately pray for their health and safety. Even though I do this, I am not guaranteed anything. That's where the grace of God comes in to play. I can't even imagine the pain Erik and his wife have gone through and continue to go through. However, I know that even though Erik may never fully heal, he's moving forward and laughing again (even in this video). Too many people experience gut wrenching pain and some how learn to laugh again. I have to believe that it's ONLY by the power of God that this is possible. Thanks for sharing Mike.
