· James 1:22 says “listen to the word.” What does that mean? What are some ways to do that?
· If I already know quite a bit about the Bible, and if I have read the Bible a lot, why is it important that I still read it every day, or at least most days, of every week?
· How often and how clearly are you hearing from God through the Bible? Would you share with us something that you are hearing?
· How might God be prompting you to learn more about the Bible, or about how to read the Bible with more understanding?
· Sometimes we can be reading the Bible and praying and going to worship regularly, but it seems like we are just “going through the motions.” How can we increase our passion for God and His Word?
· Re-read James 1:22. What results in our lives when we obey what God says? What happens when we do not?
· In what areas of your life are you obeying God’s Word? In what ways are you not? How can we help you to be accountable?
