3 Loves: Love for a Broken World

Given enough time is seems like everything breaks in this world.  The new car, we loved when we first drove it off the lot, will eventually turn into a broken down piece of metal.  The toys our kids play with eventually break and become forgotten. Even our bodies breakdown at any given time causing tremendous pain in the process.  It is true that we live in a broken world.

This week at Crossroads Church in Cranberry we are going to take some time to look at the third of our 3 Loves:  Love for a Broken World.  On Sunday, we are going to look at how God has uniquely placed us in this world and how He calls us to care and love the world around us.

Join us Sunday as we explore what it means to love the broken world around us.

Love One Another: Investing in Others

Many of us have investments.  We invest in the stock market, we invest in real estate, and we even invest in each other.  The word investment means putting value into something or someone with the expectation of gain.  So where do you invest?

This weekend at Crossroads Church in Cranberry we are continuing our series entitled, “The 3 Loves” by looking at what it means to invest in one another.  In 2 Timothy 2:2 Paul instructs Timothy to pass on what he has learned to others.  He challenges him to entrust what he has learned to reliable people who will pass it on.  On Sunday we will learn about how we can do this today.

Join us Sunday as we look at the second of our 3 Loves: Love one another.

The 3 Loves: Love for One Another

When I mention the word “family,” what comes to mind?  For some of us, the idea of family is a linked to great moments of joy and love.  We think of holidays and benchmark moments in life when everyone is together and happy.  For others the idea of “family” is far less enjoyable.  When we think of “family,” it reminds us of pain and conflict and moments in life we would much rather forget.

This weekend at Crossroads Church in Cranberry we are continuing our series entitled:  3 Loves by looking at what it means to love each other.  In John 13:34, Jesus commands us to love each other as He has loved us.  This week we are going to explore what it means to love each other as a family.  Like all families, we too are filled with imperfect people but we need each other.

Join us Sunday as we look at the second of our 3 loves.
